Steps to the Process:

- Review and Determination - We discuss the Reverse Mortgage options with you and help you determine if it is appropriate for you and your situation. We will then set up an appointment so one of our Reverse Mortgage Consultants can meet with you. You are welcome to have anyone attend.
- Apply – One of our Reverse Mortgage Consultants will meet with you, and review all the benefits, features, income options, costs and completely answer all questions. When you are ready to move forward we will assist you in completing the application.
- Counseling - We help you coordinate an appointment so you can talk to an independent, certified counselor. We want you to be fully informed.
- Appraisal - We coordinate the appraisal with you to make it as convenient as possible for you.
- Approval - We submit the loan package for approval. This usually takes 4-5 business days after we receive your appraisal. Our experienced processors will monitor your file and keep in touch with you, as will your reverse mortgage consultant.
- Signing / Closing – For your convenience we offer a mobile signing service, so you can sign in the comfort or your home, or wherever you choose.
- Funding – As with a normal “forward” mortgage your loan will record and fund 3-4 business days after you sign, then you receive your money.
